Web Industries, a 100% employee owned company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Projects could include new product introductions, computer system implementations, and other similar projects
Primary responsibilities for this newly created position will include:
Lead the definition, planning, and implementation of key projects
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
Define project tasks and resource requirements in collaboration with others
Develop full scale project plans
Report issues, concerns, and opportunities to management as needed
Perform project risk management to minimize risks to budget, timeline, and results
Assemble and coordinates project staff
Manage project budget
Manage project resource allocation
Plan and schedules project timelines
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Provide direction and support to project team
Lead project quality assurance by developing and monitoring key project metrics
Monitor and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders
Produce and present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
Implement and manage projects changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Conduct project closure evaluations and assessment of results
The successful candidate’s credentials must include: a Bachelor’s degree (degree in technical field such as engineering or sciences preferred) along with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading multiple complex, cross-functional projects; experience in manufacturing or similar environment and proficient with project management software. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience required. Experience within a regulated market such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biologics, or combination device; Quality System Regulation (QSR) and ISO 13485; contract manufacturing organization (CMO) a strong plus and Lean Six Sigma or similar experience strongly preferred. Candidates should also have the following skills and attributes: the ability to influence without authority, superb written and verbal communication skills; strong computer skills; experience with internal and external customers; a business acumen; risk identification and analysis techniques and leadership, conflict resolution, and influencing without authority.
